KEEP THE EARTH YOUNG #UMN GreenWeek
Save the planet by planting mangrove. That was my activity to celebrate the Earth Day.
why MANGROVE?
Because it's a plant that easy to grow, easy to plant, and helps earth so much.
And I got an information from www.flmnh.ufl.edu............
Mangroves protect shorelines from erosion
Mangroves serve as valuable nursery areas for fish and invertebrates
Mangroves Support Threatened and Endangered Species
Mangroves are utilized in many parts of the world as a renewable resource
On that day, I've got many things to learn. One thing I'd always remember, WALKING IN THE MUD..... "Being dirty is GREAT! It's AWESOME!"
