You're the Fairest of All



When I was a kid, I told my Mom that she is so beautiful.

Then, I read a book, fairy tale one, I saw that Cinderella was awesome.

I grew up.

I started to watch movies then I saw many actress with their beautiful face,

"They are so beautiful, I wanna be like them, someday."

(With those thick make ups? Now, I'm thinking it never happens.)

I saw my friends, they were wearing girl's stuffs.

I wanted those too.

(Try to be someone else? Don't think to do that.)

I chose to be exactly me, in the end.

With this ordinary face,

with this curly hair,

with these shirts and jeans,

with those shoes and backpack,

with everysong and everystory,

who knows about the inner me?

(better or worse, still, who knows it?)

Try to be exactly who you are.

Then, when you grow up,

Everybody would say this from their deepest heart,

"You are beautiful. You're the fairest of all."
